grow as a person

硝子玉 English

Hello. I think people grow when they challenge themselves. By having the courage to take a step forward towards an unseen future, a new world will open up.

It takes perseverance to keep doing only what you know, and I think that’s a wonderful thing. but from the perspective of “growth”, it is not very promising and will result in maintaining the status quo.

I think it’s a good idea to maintain the status quo to some extent, hone your skills and abilities, and then use the experience and relationships you’ve built up so far to move forward with what you want to do. What do you think?”

Once you find what you want to do, you keep doing it with the aim of being the best in the world. It may seem like maintaining the status quo, but what you want to do is something that branches out as you go along.

For example, while selling handmade items on a small scale, someone might say to you, “Would you like to try this?” Or, if you tell your friends, “I want to do something like this next,” and tell them your opinion, they might introduce you to someone you know, saying, “Oh, I know someone who can do that.” In this way, relationships can expand and new connections can be made from existing ones.

By continuing to do what you want to do and challenging yourself little by little, you will be able to do more and more. As a result, your life will become more and more enjoyable.

Perhaps those in their 40s, 50s, and 60s have an advantage. After all, they have more experience than those in their teens, twenties, and thirties. Their abilities and skills have been honed, and I think they have a wide range of connections with people.

Since connections with people are also part of one’s abilities, if you rely not only on your skills but also on people, you may see new developments.
